Granite Place

I was recently looking to purchase new contertops for my kitchen. I searched the web for a fabricator. I came across The Granite Place at that time, and read the review and hesitated to go there. I instead went to visit local fabricators, and view their selection. All 4 fabricators highly recommended The Granite Place. I was told they had the BEST selection, and that their material was of the highest quality and they were competitively priced. So I went! When I arrived I was met in the front office with a warm welcome. I told her this was the first time I was purchasing granite and was not sure really what I was looking for, just maybe not too dark. She took me into the warehouse to show me the materials and I was AMAZED at the selection...beautiful beautiful granites. Everything was very clean and set up with the customer in mind. She walked me thru the huge warehouse and gave me a crash course in granite. She told me everything I needed to know, and then some. She helped me finalize on one material, and even moved the slabs so I could pick out the exact pieces I wanted. She was extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable. She gave the fabricators my selection and had them to call me with their prices. I did shop them, I went to 2 other granite distributors in the area. I did find (what they called) the same material I had selected at The Granite Place, somewhere else and it was terrible compared to The Granite Place's. I would have never selected it if I had saw it there first..YUCK! So I guess what I think you all should know is that you get what you pay for. I did not go with the cheapest fabricator, and I did not choose the cheapest granite. I choose a granite I will love to look at eveyday and one that will outlast this house. I got a great price on a custom, one of a kind, piece of art in my kitchen! I would strongly recommend them to you all! Pros: best selection, superior quality, great customer service more
