While they are overpriced, they are a buy here pay here lot. No surprise there. I have been late with payments, and they do call you. But, they are not that bad to deal with. They have never threatened to repo my car. I have been charged a late payment ONCE. That was because I was almost 2 weeks late on the payment. Single mom, recently. The charge was really low, though. I like my car. It had really low miles and lots of extras(DVD player built in, remote start-factory, lumbar). I paid probably 2-3000 more than it was worth, but hey, in my situation, I had to take it. They car itself is in really decent shape. I have had a couple of issues. Thermostat needed replaced, battery ends rusted off and had to replace it. When I was late, I told them I had to spend my car payment to fix the car. They didn't like it, but were never rude or threatening. All in all, I think they are a decent little lot and not as bad as some others. Hey, at least they don't put that thing on your car where it won't start when you are late with the payment. LOL
