Colorful food, colorful people, community atmosphere: D.C. just wouldn't be D.C. without Eastern Market. It is unpretentious and unapologetic and one of the best people-watching places in town on a Saturday morning. Love the ""blues,"" of course, at Market Lunch (if I arrive early enough to miss the crazy lines) but I also love the crepe man who makes some of the best Parisian savory crepes on the planet (I mean, what's not to love about Gruyere, tomatoes, fresh basil wrapped in sublime deliciousness).
Pros: Everything
Cons: Parking (so dont drive)
