I was looking forward to a nice treat for the Easter Holiday while staying in Lenox for the weekend. I think they could do a better job here at making first time visitors feel welcome and pampered. When I arrived I was offered nothing but a clip board to fill out. No one asked if I would like water or coffee, tea. I had an express pedicure with no massage for $40 excluding tip. The polish was old and goopy and was still tacky 6 hours after the pedicure.I wanted to like this spa, but there was nothing memorable about this place. When I left I felt as if I had wasted my money. I will have to redo the polish and there was no relaxing for me personally with small children running around. When I go to a spa I want to leave more relaxed than when I arrived. For that reason I felt it was overpriced. I don't mind paying for something special, but this was not even as good as the quick walk-in place where I go in Boston for $25. Perhaps they should advertise it as a family place and that would warn people off who are trying to get a break from their children or who just want a bit of serenity, OR they should offer some kind of babysitting or play area away from the clients. I was expecting a spa-like atmosphere and something special and found neither. I was disappointed.
Cons: Small children running around, goopy polish
