I went in to look at wedding dresses purely on their reputation...wow was I disappointed. After getting measured for my dress, I was told that I was between a size 2 & a 4 & they suggested that I order the size 2 (which was the sample size). I ordered the 4 because the sample; which had been tried on numerous times & was stretched, was snug.\r

I was so excited to receive the call that my dress was in. I rushed to the store to try it on....and proceeded to cry when I could not zip it up. I was assured that it could be let out. Being too upset to discuss it further, I left & called to speak to the manager the next day. She did assure me that I was between a size 2 and a 4...in my bust, but my hips were between a 4 and a 6!! I explained that the staff wanted me to order the 2 but I ordered a size bigger & that this was not my fault that my dress did not fit. She said that the reason they instructed me as they did was because there is beading along the bust line & it would be easier to let it out through the hips. I just feel like I did not receive all of the information & I should have been allowed to send the 4 back & order the 6 without any reprocussions. It has really put a damper on my wedding excitement. Also, DO NOT have your alterations done there! They will charge you a fortune. I know a bridesmaid that spent $300 on her alterations on a bridesmaid dress!
