Ive been meaning to check out Village Sushi for some time now, and having occasionally stopped by the neighborhood this wasnt an easy option. My mother who is by no means a japanese fan, swore thats it worth a try. We went for lunch and the place for deserted except for a single lunch diner and us. We ordered 2 bento boxes, one with sashimi special and the other with shrimp and veggie tempura. Neither was particularly memorable. In fact the highlight was the ginger and carrot dressing on the small side salad. The fish was OK but bland. The tempura was heavily breaded and though visually appealing, greasy on the pallet. ill be willing to give this place a try, but am reluctant to be disappointed again.
Pros: All your typical sushi/sashimi options
Cons: Greasy tempura, average sushi.
