We originally were drawn to Essence because we could get our negatives. This was extremely important to us. For the price they wanted we thought that was extremely reasonable. We also liked the canvases they had that came free with the package. \r

Our photographer, Ed, was wonderful. We got married in November of 2009. He made sure to tell me that it was my wedding day and not to rush or let anyone push or pull me around. We wanted to take pictures outside, but didn't think about what time the sun sets. He made sure we had plenty of time to take the outside shots we wanted outside. He even went to a second destination that was not planned. \r

Ed took every shot imaginable and even shots we didn't notice. He made sure my husband's grandma was not a camera hog like she has been in his cousins wedding.\r

When it came to our album that's where we got frustrated. We were told to pick 80-100 photos for our type of album. We picked 85. When the 1st design came to us we were mad because our album came with 20 sides and they showed it with 26 sides. This was $25 per side. We replied back that we wanted only the 20 sides. They said that we picked too many pictures for the amount of sides that we wanted. They then told us that we would have to decide what to eliminate or move. Expect to pay more for sides. In the end we paid for32 more sides. Our album looks great and we got it back before 6 months after the wedding. Everyone that it was shown to says it is beautiful and asks for the name of the company. All in all they are a great company.\r
Pros: Beautiful pictures, Great price
Cons: extra album pages
