I've been to the Woodlands a few times. There usually isn't a wait and if there is it's not very long. The staff is very organized and friendly. The first thing you'll notice is the amount of dead/stuffed animals on the walls. I know that may be a turn off to some, but this Texan didn't mind one bit.
The food is to die for!! It really is comfort. Right from the start they give you the best corn bread you'll ever eat!!
Depending on your plate everything is rather affordable. They have $1 margaritas every day all day! And they're actually good and do the trick ;)
Overall: Friendly staff, excellent food, nice place to eat with friends.

Cons: If you don't like looking at dead animals on the wall
