I've recently jumped on the Rush Street wagon! Living in Santa Monica, it's hard to motivate me off or Main Street, but once I stepped into Rush I felt like I had found a something a little different.
As you walk in you are greeted by a beautiful bar on the right & dinner seating on the left. My conflicting inner foodie & raging lush led me to a spot at the bar - big enough to try the food & still see all the games (hockey, basketball & baseball) I met the bartender & ordered some food. The Salmon was great! I love the Mac & Cheese (who doesn't) & I can't wait to go back & try those smelly (good) truffle fries. Yumm!! My girlfriends showed up a little late, but the hostess was quick to offer us a table once they got there. Well the cute bartender had made some fans, so we just bellied up to the bar & finished our drinks.
After meeting some talent at the bar we headed upstairs to check out the lounge & back patio. It was raining that night, so they had tented the patio which was cool, since it gave us a chance to breathe some fresh cool air. The lounge upstairs was super cool - couches & ottomans for comfy dates or big groups.
This is a place I will definitely go back to! The staff was super friendly & anxious to accommodate. The food was great, the cocktails were delish & my glass of wine hit the spot! I loved the chill vibe of upstairs & will go back next time I have a party or group of friends that I want to show a good time!
