3 visits to have my brake pads replaced and rotors ground 4/19/2010

I would give them negative stars if possible. My Pontiac was leased new from another dealer so I can only really comment about the service staff. It took three, yes 3 visits, to get my front and rear brakes done. First visit I had new pads installed front and back and the rotors reground. Less than a week later my car started making a horrible guttural noise whenever I braked. I went back to the dealer and it turned out that they had incorrectly ground the rear rotors. When rotors are ground they are done on a lathe, which should be calibrated before each use. Well they managed to grind mine 2 degrees off. Since Grossinger had destroyed those rotors and they could not be reground they had to replace them for free. Then less than a month after the first visit I started hearing the same sound coming from the front drivers side whenever I braked. Same problem again, and again they had to replace the rotor out of pocket. Now at this point I asked for the fourth rotor to be replaced since odds are very good that one was incorrectly done too. You wold have thought I'd asked the service staff for his first-born. He started screeching at me in the middle of the service department saying they had done nothing wrong, I was making it up and they were just being nice. Because as everyone knows car dealerships love to give out free parts, labor and free rentals while they were fixing my car three times. Since then they have spammed my inbox and mailbox with promos and letters asking how they are doing and when will I be back. I have asked multiple times to be removed from their list but it never happens. The last straw was today. I received a letter in the mail saying they urgently needed my specific car back and they were willing to pay above Blue Book for it. The funny thing is my car is leased from a different dealer and isn't under my name (employee discount). So how they were planning to buy a car back that was on a lease to a different dealer and a different person was an idea that piqued my curiosity. I called and they claimed no knowledge of how my name was attached to this mailing list, claiming the marketing company that made the letters had access to GM's databases and that is how they got my address. I then asked how they had my name and address since the car isn't under those and he had no answer. The sales person I was talking to then abruptly transferred me to the manager who again feigned ignorance as to how on earth they had my name since they were only supposed to go out to people that had bought cars at that location. I again asked to be taken off their mailing list and again I was told I had been. I think this matter will be forwarded to the BBB and IL AG. Pros: They had to pay for rentals while fixing their mistakes Cons: Somehow destroyed 3 rotors while grinding them more
