Cracked the LCD on my MacBook Air and didn't want to pay Apple for a whole new display ($900). I bought a new LCD online (Ebay) from a seller who had what looked like a factory comparable brand new LCD for $150. The replacement is tricky as you have to remove the LCD from the display itself and I wasn't going to attempt it myself. I first went to GeekSquad in Wilmington and they gave me some story about how it was impossible to do because of some welding nonsense but would be happy to sell me a whole new display for $800 with labor and tax. No thanks. A+ Computer Repair to the rescue. Within a day they had the new LCD in place and my machine like brand new. Bravo!!
Pros: Quick, expert, reasonably priced
