I have lived in AK all my life and have been to the Snow Goose countless times. It has always been a great spot for casual yet dependable dining, and even better for beers. Love the ambiance, upstairs in the pub is my favorite spot, except for summertime of course when the deck is open. Love sitting in the sun overlooking the inlet while sipping a locally brewed beer!
I recently tried their ""Halibut Wasabi Burger"" and thought it had a really good flavor. Might want to order the sauce on the side, but either way it was tasty. My boyfriend said his spinach artichoke ravioli was wonderful.
I give it five stars for the overall dining experience. Deck, food, beers. Worth checking out for sure!
