I went to Dr. Kleiss by recommendation of many cites citysearch and others and was EXTREMELY disappointed. I arrived 15 minutes early as I was told to do to fill out paperwork and came to the counter and told them I was a new patient- I waited there for 10 minutes before anyone gave me any of the paperwork I asked for. Then it did take the 15 minutes to fill it out- So I was already behind ""schedule"". I turned in the paperwork and waited for over 30 minutes before my name was called to go back. The nurse didn't talk to me, ask me how my day was or at all make me feel comfortable with an already uncomfortable situation (no one is super pumped to go to the gyno). Weight, finger prick etc all done all without a kind word from the nurse and then on to another lobby where I literally waited 45 minutes before Dr. Kleiss came to take me to her office as I had mentioned I would like to speak with her about changing birth control. I went into her office and told her my concerns and she acted as if they were not important. Almost as if everyone has doubling over cramps and terrible mood swings every month and that I should just get over it. Her attitude was beyond unacceptable- just that I wasn't important at all. Not that I am looking for the VIP treatment at the gyno but a little compassion couldn't have killed her. Then we go in to the room for the dreaded exam and no warnings or talking just down to business and then I'm sent back out to the counter to check out. I paid my co-pay and left with my prescription for new birth control and was told that I would be called in 6 weeks to let me know of the status of my papsmear- I was never called and when I called back they told me I should call a 1-800 number- how impersonal is that? When calling the 1-800 number they had no idea who I was or what I was calling about (they obviously do alot of different types of labs) and I was supposed to have some code. Needless to say 4 months after my exam I still had no idea of the outcome of it.
