I called for a cleaning on a new rental home, and told the manager Scott what I wanted done on the phone. Told him the size of my house...etc. He said that would take 1.5 hours and it was $75 an hour. I said fine and 2 ladies showed up the next day.
When they got here they said they wouldn't be able to finish my list in the hour and a half and what was my priorities. I was confused because the manger gave ME the timeframe. But I told them that the baseboards and floors were the most important so they started on those.
They cleaned for an hour and a half and did not finish very much. Not nearly as much as the Maid Brigade did when we used them for 4 years in CA. The oven was really bad so I said they could stay for 2 hours and I would pay that so they could do the oven.
Then when they went to leave at the 2 hour mark, I went to check their work. The kitchen floors were not clean at all. The linoleum was still mostly black with dirt. My mother and I the night before had cleaned one half of the kitchen floor with a dollar store mop and soap and our side looked much cleaner than their side.
So I asked them to please clean the linoleum properly. They came back in and put some special stuff on the floors and got them clean. I tipped them nicely and they left.
Then I see on my bank account that they charged me for 2.5 hours. I asked for a receipt twice and they never emailed me one. When I called and complained, Shannon at customer service said she spoke to the team and they had a very different story.
They said that the floors were not on top of my list and that I added them while they were ready to leave. They said they warned me of the time and I said no clean anyway. They also shockingly accused me of telling them to get down on their hands and knees to do the floor!! THIS NEVER HAPPENED. I am shocked and insulted.
Customer service did not want to listen to me and said she believes her team over me. When I finally got the receipt emailed, it was in a .rpt format which most normal people can't open. I asked 2 more times for something like a PDF that I could actually open and no response.
Horrible horrible service in every way. Maid Brigade was always good to us and I will be using them from now on.
