My bridal party and I were so happy with Johanna and her quality of work. She did a wonderful job for both the wedding day and my ""Bachelorette day"" when we decided to do our trial run. The airbrush makeup really does last all day and night. After a long night of partying, and walking through downtown San Antonio in the rain, my makeup still looked good in the morning! The only thing that could be a positive or a negative, depending on how you look at it, is that the eye makeup was hard to wash off. I still had a little eyeliner left, two days later, even after multiple face washings.
Johanna was very nice to us, and worked it out with a couple of her other clients so that she could fit us all in at the last minute. I live in North Carolina, but was getting married in San Antonio. A friend of my bridesmaid was originally going to do our makeup, but backed out just a few weeks before the wedding. I found ""The Makeup Maven"" site through an online search, and rushed to book the only two appointments she had left on my wedding day... Unfortunately, I needed three. After meeting with her to do our trial run on Thursday, she told us she could work it out to fit all three of us in on Saturday. I will be forever grateful to her for that!
The airbrushing is wonderful! It provides great looking coverage without feeling heavy at all. I have rosacea and a lot of makeup can easily irritate my skin. The makeup she used did not. It felt and looked great both times I wore it... All day and night!
