Mr. Dan Rambo was recommended to me from a friend when I had a problem with my home heater. Mr. Rambo came out (after a couple of days) and made temporary repairs which allowed me to (thankfully) have heat. Then when I tried to have him come fix the unit and replace a faulty gas valve he said he didn't think they were available but would check and get back with me. After a few days of not hearing from him I tried calling and he never returned my calls. In the meantime, I called a few local suppliers and the part was indeed available. They even gave me the costs of the valve. I finally got Dan Rambo to answer his phone and told him what I had learned about the part. That's when he stopped talking.
Further, he stopped answering the phone. In addition, he would not return my calls after leaving voice messages for weeks. It seems that he got a bit pissed because I found out that: 1) the part was available, and ; 2) what it costs. Well, you know what? There are many was that a person can find out the costs of a part. For example, learn to work the Google.
Anyway, I had the part installed by someone else. However, Mr. Rambo jumped a lot of wiring on his first visit that need to be undone. I continued to try and call him to have him come out and reverse his previous work. Jut come fix change it back and give me a bill.
Wouldn't return calls.
Finally got through to him (today) and within 30 seconds he hung up on me. I'll hope that he enjoys the multiple reviews I'm posting regarding the quality of his service. He should not be in any business dealing with the public.
Pros: Seems like a nice guy at first.
Cons: Pretty much everything except the first impression
