Frozen mango margaritas make me happy. Even when it's 40 degrees outside. I think it has something to do with the fact that I was rewarded with Slurpees for scholastic achievement until I was a teenager.
I would get straight A's in middle school and be boosted that we could go get Slurpees. It wasn't until high school until I realized that my parents were geniuses. Some kids were being bribed with money, video games, cars and I was responding to Slurpees.
So with that morsel of background, you can kind of understand why I love cold and slushy drinks. And of course, tequila is just the added bonus.
The frozen margaritas here are awesome! I half pitcher is only $12.99 and you can usually get about 3 full glasses out of it. The margaritas are pretty filling and pack a punch!
When the restaurant isn't psychotically crowded, the service is wonderful as well. ?In the winter months, there is usually a pretty short wait for a table compared to the summer months when you may have to wait for an hour or so.
If you're just stopping by for drinks or a quick bite, I suggest skipping the bar downstairs and head for the bar on the 3rd floor in the back. People often forget or do not know ?that it exists, so there are usually plenty of stools to sit on.
Pros: margs
Cons: too many people
