Lombardi's is at the top of my list of places to bring out- of-towners. Their impressive claim of being the ""First Pizzeria in the United States"" definitely has a nice ring to it! The wait to get in can be long so put your name on the list and take a nice stroll around the neighborhood while you wait. Rice to Riches across the street is a nice timesaver pre-Lombardi's or post-Lombardi's for dessert. I really like their standard fresh mozzarella pizza especially since it was my first taste into the fresh mozzarella/tomato/basil pizza world. We used to have these pizzas delivered to work down on Fulton Street as part of our weekly lunch. A few of my friends are Grimaldi's die-hards but I think it's also because they're biasedly Brooklyn.
