Excel Restoration came very highly recommended to me by my insurance agent, after my roofing claim for hail damage was denied. Excel owner, Brent Mileur inspected my roof and suggested that I apply for a second inspection. Brent went up on the roof with the inspectors and the roof was subsequently approved for replacement. Excel succeeded where three other roofing companies failed. I would not have gotten this approved had it not been for Brent... who has years of experience working with insurance companies. I chose a black architectural shingle, but Brent suggested another color that he felt would be perfect for my house? and he was right, it looks very nice! The roofers showed up on time, put tarp around the entire house to protect the shrubs etc, and placed a large bin on wheels in the driveway to hold the old shingles. (The wheels help to protect the driveway.) Everyone on the job was obviously very experienced. The crew worked diligently while an Excel supervisor watched every detail. He was available all day to answer any questions. Everyone did an outstanding job, finished on schedule and cleanup was excellent. Brent arrived on site to check the completion of the new roof and to provide answers to any possible questions. Excel did a first-rate job and I would definitely hire them again for any work needed on my home (including an overall residing that I am considering). We have had several major rainstorms since the roof was put on, and we have not had any problems. This was a seamless experience from beginning to end. It's difficult to find a company that you can trust, and after this experience I can truly say that I would trust this company to do a great job at a very fair rate. Pros: Excellent workmanship, honesty, insurance savvy more
