i knew i wanted to get a tattoo for my 25th birthday, so i was planning to go to another tattoo shop that i had visited before off broadway.. i started researching them a little better and from their reviews found out about Black 13. i was in awe, basically, from reading the 50 something GREAT reviews and knew right away i had to visit them!
i went in with my sister-in-law yesterday on my birthday in hopes of being able to get something done.. i shouldve taken into consideration from all of the positive reviews that they might not be able to fit me in, but i was thinking ""its a wednesday afternoon, im sure they could fit me in"".....wrong lol. turns out they were totally booked for the rest of the week and next week.. Doy (i believe - i didnt catch his name but i think it was him from doing some research) greeted us and helped us out by booking something for me next wednesday. i was a little bummed that i couldnt get it on my birthday but was THRILLED that he found something for me and that it was just a week away! i havent even gotten the tattoo yet but i already know that Black 13 is the place to go.. just from reviews, hands down, its the only place. ;) im looking forward to getting my tattoo done and going back for future pieces!
