I took my car in for an alignment before buying new tires. About 5 months after buying new tires I noticed uneven wear on the rear tires. After being told the only available appointment was six weeks out, I took it to a different shop, owned by the same company,the very next day, where a technician verified that the alignment was wrong and recommended new tires. The store first offered off brand tires to replace my Goodyear tires. When I wouldn't accept that they only offered to compensate me with a pro-rated amount to replace my essentially brand new tires.
