I moved to Billerica 3 years ago and have shopped in Home Depot and Lowes in addition to O'Connor's. I find the salespeople at O'Connor's to be very knowledgeable and friendly. If they don't have what I'm looking for, they order it. The saleswomen are willing to help find an item, not just point to an aisle, and offer their own personal experiences with products they may have used. Yes, some of the salesmen are older and may seem unapproachable but ask them a question and they prove they're not as they may appear. They explain things or services well, offer suggestions and ideas and prove to be a wealth of knowledge and experience. I find the check-out people are friendly as well. Are there things I will need from the other two hardware stores? Sure, but I'll check O'Connors before heading out to them.
Pros: Well stocked, informative salespeople, great parking
Cons: Items may cost a little bit more than at the box stores
