Every time I explain a problem, I'm treated as if I know nothing about cars. My dad raced. I grew up around cars and took my first car apart as a child. I know a little about them. I get the feeling when I'm explaining a problem though that they just want to pat me on the head and hand me a lolly pop. After more than a thousand dollars on the last repair and a comment that I didn't know what the problem was they wanted to try something else first, I still have the problem and it is what I said it was to begin with. I would never advise a woman to go here. They will do unnecessary repairs and charge you more than the industry standard.
