My friend is going through hard financial times, as many people are during this recession. A broke college student, she came home to find her beloved kitten barely able to walk. She rushed him to this vet for treatment. The vet never discussed affordable means of treatment, and frantic, she left her animal in the care of someone that she believed had professional integrity. The following Monday her cat was ready for discharge and the vet handed her a $500 bill. This may not be very much money to some people, but considering her difficult financial situation, it could have been millions. She asked him if their was a payment plan option or if she could do anything to defer the cost, and he said that he wasn't in the, "loan business." He gave her the ultimatum that she should, either pay the full price immediately, which was never discussed prior to the animal's discharge date, OR EUTHANIZE THE CAT. Others say this man treats animals in his care like his own, but who would euthanize a beloved and otherwise healthy kitten. This man should have given her an estimate of the cost of care, and perhaps provided her with other more affordable care options, in the first place, but he didn't and now her pet is days away from death. Yes Bart Sutherland, it's clear that you really care about animals....
NEVER BRING YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS CLINIC UNLESS YOU WANT THEM KILLED!!!!!
Pros: none
Cons: Will Euthanize Your Animal
