I lived on the UES for 2 1/2 years a few years ago and this was my go-to bar. The other ones in the area are kind of divey and packed full of the "just out of college" crowd. I was in that crowd too but was not trying to extend my college days with beer pong or other things like that (they have their place but just not my thing). I can't remember all the special deals they have but I remember a martini night and a sangria night. My fave bar tender left but they were all good. It's a decent place to meet a blind date or with friends after work for drinks and apps. My group of friends did New Year's there too and I thought it was a good deal for what it was.
I haven't been lately since I'm not in that area very often but I can't remember any negatives. The spinach dip is great and so is whatever comes with the pita bread...probably hummus but like I said, it's been a while. I recommend it if you're in the area!
