6 weeks ago, I donated a kidney to my husband and we're living in the cities for his transplant follow-up care. I was cleared for workouts 4 weeks after my surgery, and found 501FIT. AWESOME! The owners/trainers are super - both with accomodating my short term request (we'll only be here another 3 weeks) and for cautioning me during class when I might be pushing too hard considering my post-surgery startup. \r

Their strength classes are for ANYONE -- just starting out, restarting or fine-tuning. The classes are structured, challenging and well within capabilities, all at the same time. The trainers adjust the weight for each individual and keep an eye on everyone's form. I've also seen boot camp and kettleball classes. Even being here only a few weeks, I'm treated w/respect and encouraged to meet my goals -- makes me feel like I'm part of the family :-) \r

They were also super supportive when I asked if it was OK to come in and workout on my own -- no problem! Always a friendly hello in a super environment -- sunny, aesthetically interesting and pleasing -- with a great choice of well maintained, state of the art machines -- treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, weight machines, GWerx and more. Super clean too... Easy parking on the streets or in the lot out back. I highly recommend this place -- and will truly miss working out here when I go home to Duluth next month...
Pros: the people, the space, classes, cleanliness, energy!
Cons: haven't found any...
