I was a customer at Bowman Veterinary Hospital for 2 years and brought my rescue doberman to Dr. Kominek three times during this period of time. That apparently wasn't enough; I was pressured to order numerous tests that were not necessary, and very expensive. Although she is very educated and experienced, I don't believe Dr. Kominek acts in the pet's best interest; rather, she seeks to make a profit. She can't even remember that my dog is a FEMALE and she is very impersonal. Additionally, her staff is rude when I politely ask questions. I can't traumatize my pet by dragging her in for unnecessary and expensive testing every time I turn around, so I am taking her elsewhere. more
