My wife and I ate there last Friday for Lent. The bread and herb oil was good and placed on the table seconds after we were seated. We started with the Italian crab cakes. The spicy aioli was not spicy but very good, however the crab cakes themselves were more breading than crab. The salads were nothing spectacular, but above average. I got the shrimp parmesian, with marinara and my wife got the pesto gnochi. I killed the shrimp. It was tasty, and perfectly prepared. Not too much breading. I would have liked a little more cheese though. The angel hair pasta was good, but the marinara was a little runny. That being said- there was none left to take home. The gnocchi was phenomenal. While my wife could not finish it all, it reheated very well the next day.
Our server was incredible. She was polite and did not hover over us. The conversation was fun and lively. We never had to ask for drink refills, and our bread basket with oil was always replenished.
Just a great outing to a local restaurant. No complaints and good food.
Pros: servers
Cons: little seating, and feels kind of cramped
