What you are about to read is false and was written by a company called secure remote support to promote their business by ""piggybacking"" Geeks Squads Reviews.
If I could ever get these people to actually do what they advertise I think I would just about keel over. Geek squad has to have one of the worst customer service experiences of all the computer repair services. I had them back up my files then erase my hard drive and put everything back on it. They didn't. Most of my work documents ended up missing and I was told they were unrecoverable. Unrecoverable? the computer worked when I took it to them and I had no issue with opening my documents, slowly but it still was able to display them. So they obviously didn't back them up properly and just lied to cover their own tail. I have gone rounds with the supervisor about this and was eventually told to leave the store before the police were called. Wow thats how you treat your paying customers? They get your money and then they kick you out with a threat of imprisonment. I was completely insulted and embarrassed by the scene. I left and am taking steps to recover my funds from them thru my bank. I ended up calling secure remote support and had them take care of the computer. It was quick and for the most painless. I would recommend them if you're looking for someone besides the RIP OFF SQUAD.
