I lived in Vienna for four years. I know a thing or two about great Austro-Hungarian cuisine. It's not at the Danube Bistro. My weinerschnitzel was an overfried piece of leather, not a palatable meal worth $27. I can go to Italianissimo and have a spectacular filet mignon for less than that! The chicken paprikash and mushroom ravioli were uninspired, altho not as bad as the weinershcnitzel. The desserts were outrageously priced and pedestrian. On top of all that, the waitress charged us for the weinerschnitzel that I asked her to take back to the kitchen, then couldn't divide the bill up properly. What a bust for a birthday celebration! And here I was, excited that there was a European restaurant in town. I'll save my pennies and make my own weinerschnitzel at home!
Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Service, quality of food, over priced
