The mission of the church shall be to bring together followers of Jesus Christ for the purpose of sharing in the worship of God and in making His will dominant in the lives of men and women, individually and collectively, especially as that will is set forth in the life, teaching, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.\r

The vision of the church is to establish Central Christian Church as a spiritual center for the city of Hilo; to provide an open door and an extended hand of help to every person that wants it; to preach the gospel to the unsaved; to teach the saints of God and bring them to spiritual maturity; and to provide practical assistance to all who need it.\r
