Regret not reading the reviews prior to making an appointment at this facility. Dr. Mandry was indeed, as described by previous poster, offensive and insulting. He said that low cortical was not a problem, low or high testosterone…also not a problem. Unexplained weight gain, inability to concentrate, irritability, night sweats (just the beginning of a long list)…likely not based on hormonal imbalances…implied psychological problems. Is this man actually a doctor??? He glanced at the Spectra-micronutrient test ordered by a previous doctor, shrugged his shoulders and said it is questionable and not reliable... but then admitted he didn’t know much about it. For his information…the Spectra-micronutrient test is paid for be most insurance companies for one reason…it is reliable, otherwise they wouldn‘t pay for it!!! My daughter also attended Wellspring Camp where most kids lose twenty pounds or more over a six week period. My daughter worked her butt off and only lost three and a half pounds. This has been most frustrating to her. He implied since he wasn’t there, he didn’t know if she actually ate right and exercised. Anyone with any knowledge of this camp knows that it is extremely regimented. This is the reason she agreed to go, so that the doctors would understand that she really is eating right in her everyday living and listen to her concerns!!! Well this sums up the visit…anything out of his studies were simply dismissed. He was condescending from the beginning…quick to judge, not one to listen to symptoms and concerns. I left the room crying, then my daughter (his patient) left in tears saying we basically just paid to have someone “beat us up!” \r
I do understand when he stated that people can read symptoms and put themselves into an incorrect category…I have concerns that my daughter could have Cushing’s which can go undiagnosed for decades in many people. My main concern is not specifically Cushing’s but THERE IS SOMETHING GOING AWRY IN HER BODY and when a person’s body is not functioning properly…for whatever reason, it can cause IRRIVERSABLE DAMAGE. My testosterone was too low, my body was not metabolizing zinc and chromium, and these have caused osteopenia and insulin resistance which if left undiagnosed would have led to osteoporosis and diabetes 2. I have worked with wonderful doctors who have helped me regain and maintain optimum health and I’m now in better health and look younger than ten years ago. I simply want my daughter to be healthy also. HORMONAL IMBALANCES SHOULD BE CORRECTED OR CAN CAUSE IRRIVERSABLE DAMAGE TO ONE’S BODY AND SELF-ESTEEM. \r

Three hours later it seems like a bad dream that could not have possibly taken place in a doctor's office!!! OUTRAGIOUS... \r
