My wife and 11 yo daughter just walked into the From the Boot's Lafayette Hill's restaurant. We as a family have been eating there for years. had a bad experience (bad rude service) with a paritcular waitress, Margie a few years back. So when we go, we ask to be sat in a different section just to avoid an ""experience"". In some visits to the restaurant after that , ""Margie"" would speak to the other waiters while we ate. the waiter serving us would just shake his head and look befuddled. Today, Wed 3/31, my daughter and wife planned a day together. Our daughter wanted the Boot for lunch. As they walked in and asked to be seated, ""Margie"" walked up, took the menus from the hostess and said, ""i know where they want to be seated"" and put them in a section that wasnt hers. she walked in the back. one of the owners came out, confronted my wife, embarrassing her and my daughter in front of the whole restaurant, saying this is ending right now! amazing. we are all in shock! NO food is worth that!! And the owner didnt care one way or the other! NOT a very good family environment when you have to deal with a server and owner like that.....SAVE your money and your time in long line for a table!
