When my son started to get bored (& misbehave) at our neighborhood public elementary, we knew it was time to send him to a school where he would be challenged and engaged. We investigated two other private schools, both with fairly traditional classroom settings but boasting that their curriculum was ""a year ahead"" of most public schools.
Pros: the headmaster, the curriculum, the whole program
Cons: it's not free (but worth the investment)
