On our first visit we had the duck, the tuna tar tar, rock shrimp tempura, the shrimp shumai, and the mixed Chinese vegetables in garlic sauce. I was very surprised when I liked all of these dishes. My father was a chef of Singapore cuisine, so normally I find something wrong with the Asian restaurants in Charleston. This is honestly the first Asian duck dish that I have liked among all the Asian restaurants in Charleston, and I have looked for a long time for good duck. We came back a second time to try the sushi. We had the Black Angel Roll and the Sweetie roll. Both were beautifully presented, especially the sweetie roll. The 8 pieces were shaped into hearts 4 hearts (two pieces per heart), and these hearts were flanked by a small bridge fashioned out of twigs and adorned with a small flower and leafy greens. We took a picture of it, because it was really pretty. One warning to all of you authentic Chinese food fans. This is more of a bistro than an authentic Chinese food restaurant that you'd find in a Chinatown. So, yes, it will cost more. We will definitely keep coming back. Pros: fresh, high quality, tasty food, beautiful decor more
