This place is really an old time boarding facility with a Mom and Pop feel. The Owner and his wife are really nice People and they live there and play with the dogs daily if you want them to and if your dog allows it.
It has a homey feel and when you first walk in the place it doesn't even smell like a kennel.Also my dogs were in a pen with each other but separated by fencing so another strange dog could not get to them but they could still socialize with them. VERY SAFE!
I was able to bring my own food and treats for my angels and they were able to have their own beds too! I wasn't charged to have my own food and treats given to my dogs and they didn't charge me to play with my dogs they just do it.
They also have fantastic grooming. I had my poodles given haircuts by the owners wife who has two poodles herself and she is going to put them on their website for viewing as they turned out dynamite. So check out they're web site too!
They are situated in a small neighborhood atmosphere along the Metra tracks on the business side of Columbus Ave. The businesses near by are well cared for, as well, so I felt comfortable leaving my babies there. If you have to go out of town this is the place and the rates are so affordable. The prices vary by the size of dog but it ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per day and about $5.00 more in the summer and on holidays like Easter and Christmas, etc.
Pros: No worries of my babies getting hurt by some other dog
