I started with a free consultation that was incredibly helpful in determining the course of treatment that would be best to treat my acne and acne scars. I have gone to several dermatologists and tried medications, birth control, testosterone supressants, lasers, you name it, and nothing had worked. I wanted something that would make a difference without having to take a prescription.
When I first started going last summer, I had 4 rounds of Isolaz which was really helpful for getting my acne under control, and since then I have been getting a chemical peel about once a month to continue to combat the acne and to fade away my acne scars. I have gotten about 8 peels I think and there is a HUGE difference in my skin. I have only like one or two pimples at a time now (which is normal and a vast improvement over breaking out all over my face like I was before) and the scars are fading away. When my friends see me without makeup they all tell me how good my skin looks now. I think a few more peels and my skin will look good enough that I won't ever need to use cover-up again (which is my personal skin care goal).
