I am a resident at The Village of Greenbriar since 2007 - 2010. The New Management is not good. But I would like to note a few issues that I have had since, living here up to the present. Here are a few facts you should know before signing a lease:
Only 3 dumbsters area for the whole 200 unis. Look at the building that you want to lease and check how far it is to the nearest dumbster. We have to put our bags on the hood of our car and transport them to the dumpster and while you are at it check your mail.
The pipes are old. The 3rd day after our move in the kitchen ceiling came down flooding the kitchen and a box with valuables were ruined. Several other residents had the same problem.
Parking is unassigned however, If you are a guest they have to park on the parameter
of the complex. If your parked there more than 48 hours your guests car will be booted. I never invite friends over so check this when you look at a unit.
You can not have a gas or charcoal grill on your patio or balcony, you can however have an electrical grill but no bikes.
They hold several inspections a year and fhey are a inconvenience. Since they are owned by Adams County and subsidized by HUD thay say you have to let them in. If you don't let them in you are threatened with eviction.
In closing, The Rent is about middle way so you get what you pay for and likely less.
Gangs hang out at the entrance to the park and make their transactions. In the very cold whether you have to run hot water or face broken pipes. $$
Cons: Look Around the Property before you sign the lease
