Disaster 3/23/2010

I have had my very valuable piano stored with them since August 2008. In November of 2009 the owner, Todd McDermott, called and told me one of his employees was embezzling. Todd asked me to make the storage checks out to him personally. That should have caused me to get my piano out of there. Shame on me. In February 2010, I noticed my storage check hadn't cleared the bank, so I called the company to see if my check had been lost in the mail. My call was answered by another company (Texas Ranger calls are being forwarded). The person that answered told me Todd was having some personal problems. I asked him to have Todd call me. Todd never did. About a month later I called Texas Ranger Moving again. The people at the place where the calls are being forwarded to are getting tired of dealing with Texas Ranger moving and were not very helpful. It occured to me that Todd had talked to me using his cell phone so I went through my phone bills and figured out his cell phone number. I called Todd's cell phone and left him a message to call me, which he did. Todd explained that he was having problems with the owner of their storage space. There are several pianos stored there, "but they are safe." He promised to call me with a plan for getting my piano. He never did. I have left him a message to call me.
