It was that time again. Our old mattress bit the dust and I had to make the dreaded mattress shopping journey. I started with a few of the national chains and just as I expected, I was greeted by overzealous salespeople time after time. I decided to get on the web and do a little more research on the matter before making my final decision. I read a positive review about Sit and Sleep so I decided to give them a try. I stopped by the Montgomery Crossroad location to browse their selection. The store was clean and a little smaller than the others I had visited. To my surprise, the staff greeted me, but gave me plenty of room to get a lay of the land. They had all of the major brands and there was a nice blend of comfort levels. After a few minutes, I asked them for some advice. They were very knowledgeable and eager to help me find the mattress that was just right for my needs. They didn't try to sell me the most expensive model or pressure me to make a decision on the first visit. After a half hour or so, I decided on a Simmons Beautyrest. I asked when it would come in, and to my surprise, they told me that everything was in stock. I asked how much delivery to Rincon would be and they told me that it was free of charge on the condition that I sent them some business :) They asked if I wanted it that afternoon, but I was having some paint work done at the house, so they delivered it a few days later. The delivery staff was the best I have ever experienced. They were very clean cut and respectful. They took pride in their jobs, and they showed up on time. That's a pet peeve of mine. I've had the new mattress for some time now, and it has been wonderful. Needless to say, I had a great experience with this company, and I highly recommend them. I have sent a couple of friends to them, but I remembered that review online that turned me on to them in the first place. That's why I am taking the time to write this, oh yeah, and I have to earn that free delivery :)
