This is my favorite mom and pop shop in Houston. I have been going here for almost my entire life and the quality and friendliness of the establishments hasn’t changed at all! You can either take your warm, freshly made, bagels to go or you can sit and dine at the restaurant next door. With such a variety of freshly baked goods it is often hard to choose what you want to chow down on. While the plain bagels are definitely a must, you have to come early in the morning for the cinnamon raisin bagels or the sundried tomato bagels. If you are not a bagel person, try their challah (bread); a warm, fluffy, braided, egg bread. The attached restaurant serves a wide variety of traditional breakfast items as well as a menu full of kosher items as well.
