When you walk in the door you mouth starts to water almost before you even smell the food. The food is very authentic ... and VERY good! The sauce is the best anywhere. The simple decorations, checkered tablecloths, all make for a cozy atmosphere. If Michael Corleone ever visited Knoxville, he would have eaten at Savelli's. The worst part is the parking. If you don't get there quick enough, you have to park up the street.
The meatball calzone is my favorite.
Pros: The food
Cons: The parking
