The very first Thai Restaurant I ever went to in my life, was the little King & I in Ansley Square, about thirty years ago. Tom, the owner, was an instant friend to all in the community, and fed everyone, drunk or otherwise. Atlanta has grown up, especially West Midtown. Now, Tom brings to that area, what made King & I famous. Tom Yum w/shrimp, add fish sauce, velvety Chicken Coconut Soup, Grilled Chicken Skewers w/homemade peanut sauce and cucumber salad. And the Shrimp Massaman, is wonderful. Skip the sushi, and go for the Thai standards, that made this Thai establishment, a legend in Atlanta.
