After moving here from Michigan 3 months ago, we had to leave our 12 year old Labrador with our neighbors for a week. Upon our return "Sam" was lethargic, coughing, not eating and just NOT looking good. I am glad we took him to Alta Wood as another neighbor recommended them. After doing a series of x-rays and blood work "Sam" was diagnosed with severe bronchitis with a touch of pneumonia which he may have caught while playing at the dog park. "Sam" was prescribed with some high potency antibiotics and within 3 - 4 days he was back to his old, happy, and playfull self. Furthermore, Dr. Acevedo and his staff would call us to follow-up on "Sam's" progress. We are extremely fortunate to have found a compassionate, caring and knowledgeable veterinarian. GREAT JOB!
