DON'T BE CONFUSED BY NAME. There IS another Days Inn in Sherman area. SOMEHOW, this hotel receives calls for three hotels - Economy Inn, Days Inn and Sherman Inn. DON'T BE TAKEN IN BY THIS or the fresh paint on the building. It is the ""Sherman Inn"" which somehow answers calls under three names.
This place is operated by rude Middle Easterner who insisted that both nights stay be paid in advance. Anything you want will be available by phone BUTt when you arrive, it's a different story. We booked two rooms king connecting - but upon arrival they not available. Rooms were cold, broken hardware which created security problem. We explained to owner/manager who became irate that we were canceling second night. We had to argue to get a refund for the unused second night. He finally issued it to debit card but said it would take two weeks to process! This was such a bad experience.
North Texas has a charming, warm hospitality but this place is the complete opposite. We cannot recommend. We are awaiting refund and expect to file with Better Business.
P.S. Save your money at next door restaurant too - food not recognizable.
Pros: Price/Location
Cons: SECURITY, DISREPAIR
