Having a sudden craving for sweets, I was on my way to Trader Joe's in WeHo when I walked by Plaisir. This was the first time I saw this place so out of curiosity I walked in. Being a huge sweet tooth, I was immediately drawn to the glass showcase of various pastries. The owner Danny happened to be there that day and after chatting with him, I followed his suggestion and tried the Classic, a dessert very similar to a cream puff, but oh so much better. The sweet dense pastry contrasted with the light fluffly filling was unbelievable. I plan to go back soon to try the crepes which I saw someone eating in the cafe.
