I brought my '97 Accord to Japanese Connection after the check engine light came on and the muffler started making a ton of noise. They determined that there was a hole in the muffler causing all the noise and that the spark plugs were worn, which was probably causing the check engine light. They fixed everything for just under $400. The shop I brought it to first gave me an estimate for almost $3000. The $400 repair seems to have worked just fine. If you have a japanese car, I'd say this is the place to take it.
Pros: Small shop, very personal, extremely honest
Cons: the appearance of the shop isn't the best
