A friend reffered me to this Bakery off McHenry Ave in Modesto. She had recently thrown a Baby Shower and said a friend had brought a dozen red velvet cupcakes from this place in Modesto that were ""to die for."" I stopped by in the afternoon last week to see what all the fuss was about. I was greeted by a nice lady with an apron in a small cozy store front. She had just sold out prior to my visit, but had one last batch cooling before they closed early due to an event they were catering. I decided to look at examples of her Catering events and thank you cards from customers while I waited for the fresh cupcakes. She brought out the final dozen and handed me a fresh Red Velvet Cupcake. Pure coincidence that this was the exact flavor my friend had raved about that was at her shower. I took my first bite and was astonished how moist, rich, and flavorful this cupcake was. This was honestly the best cupcake I have ever tasted. Maybe the best cake I had ever tasted. I immediately purchased the full dozen before someone else walked in and beat me to it. LOL. If you love a high quality dessert and live in the Central Valley you owe it to yourself to go see what ""all the fuss"" is about like I did. You will be glad that you made the trip.
