I had a very bad experience buying a used car from one of those mom & pop shops, the whole ""buy here, pay here"" thing (hence my user name, I left an awful review for them, don't ever buy from Griffin Motors or Austin Auto Exchange). So I was apprehensive about going to any other place besides somewhere on the motor mile. Now I do have ""challenged credit"" so that also made me apprehensive about going to Apple SI, I thought I wouldn't ever be approved after looking at the type of cars they had here, very nice, clean, inexpensive with low miles. I decided to go ahead and put in a credit app just to try it out. This was done on a Tuesday. I got a call from Tony I think later that day or the next, he said he was going to submit all my info since he received my app and someone should be in touch with me (I had heard this a thousand times though from previous dealers) so I was like, well ok I guess I just wait now. I get a call from the finance company a little later and they just ask me few questions, ask me to fax over some info of mine and that's it. So probably 2 days pass by or so and Tony calls me asking when i could come by to check out the cars since he had received an answer from the finance company that everything looked great. I work and live quite a distance from RR620 so I told them I would be down there on Saturday. Tony said that was fine and that he had a car I was approved for already. Although the car didn't fit my family needs exactly but hey, I was approved for a car!!! So by this I would build up my credit again which was fine with me. I did take my my husband's dad to check it out and there were a few things to get fixed on the car which Tony gladly stated and wrote down on an invoice it would be taken into their auto shop they use down the street by Monday. They also gave me loaner car!! I found this all amazing, maybe I didn't seem happy there but I was seriously astounded by how nice everyone was and how everyone was treated equally as a customer! They gave me 3 mos. warranty and a 1 year, 24 hr. road side assistance, they even have free car washes every Saturdays for their customers. I have never met a salesperson so helpful and nice and not pressuring us to buy into something we didn't like. Like I said, although the car we purchased didn't suit our needs as a family, the car was VERY nice and would do for the time being. I definitely recommend going here to purchase your car. Once I'm doing paying off this car, I WILL be going back to buy another one.

Cons: Kind of far from San Marcos & South Austin (but worth it)
