My family recently met in Memphis to celebrate a birthday and made reservations for 8 people at Pearl's. We were told over the phone that they do not take reservations, but because we had a big party, they would take the reservation. When I arrived and said we had reservations, the host said, ""no you don't!"" When we explained that we spoke to a woman who took the reservation, he said we would be put at on the list behind the other 50 people who were waiting. The conversation ended with him yelling - silencing the whole restaurant - ""GET OUT!"" We we ended up having a lovely dinner with excellent food and flawless service at Sole across from the FedEx Forum.
